Josephine Booth: A Force of Nature
Mehitabel, one of Cebu's original furniture manufacturing companies, was run by Josephine Aboitiz-Booth in the late 1940s, and began producing and exporting rattan furniture. Josephine joined with fellow furniture makers to form the Cebu Furniture Industries Foundation in 1974.
